In 2000, Artist Susan Lordi created Willow Tree®, a collection of hand-carved figurative sculpture for the gift industry, distributed and sold worldwide. Through the reach of her sculptural and fibre art, Susan communicates a message of the importance of integration of the arts as well as environmental conservation to a wide audience. She is involved in cultural, arts, and conservation organizations in the Kansas City community and beyond.

Willow Tree focuses on a form and gesture that speaks to the universal. By stripping down the essence of emotion to pure form, Susan opens the interpretation of each piece to the giver and the receiver.
